The program for the meeting this month features a story that will get you in the spirit of Halloween! Dr. Victoria Loberg will be speaking about Elizabeth McNear, who was the wife of George P. McNear, Jr., president of TP&W Railroad. His murder is the subject of Dr. Loberg’s latest book, The Murder on Moss Avenue: A Peoria, Illinois Cold Case. Vicky’s books will be available for purchase.
