2019 PMSA Doctor's Day Blood Drive - Volunteers Needed!

The 2019 Annual Doctor's Day Blood Drive will be held Thursday, March 14th from 8AM to 4PM in the lower level of Unity Point-Proctor's Professional Building.

This special event honors physicians by allowing donors to give a unit of blood in honor of their favorite doctors. A card is then sent to the designated physicians informing them of their patient's "Gift of Life" donation. PMSA volunteers are needed to staff this event. Volunteers will help greet and check in donors, assist them in filling out forms, address & complete cards that will go to the physicians and verbally thank the donors for their participation.

The following time slots are available:

8 to 10 AM

10 AM to 12 noon

12 noon to 2 PM

2 to 4 PM

Lunch, snacks (including gourmet cupcakes!) and beverages will be provided for the volunteers. This event is a great way to connect with fellow Alliance members and is providing a vital service to our community.
