Carpool to Princeton, then take Train to Chicago

The Details--

6:45 AM -- Depart Peoria Evergreen Square, carpooling to Princeton train station

8:31 AM -- AMTRAK 380 Illinois Zephyr departs --  ** Pre-purchase your round-trip train tickets early at www.amtrak.com (Look for EARLY discounts)

10:35 AM -- Arrive at Union Station, Chicago, Share cabs on arrival to North Michigan Avenue

11:30 AM --  Luncheon (optional)  at Neiman-Marcus (Mariposa Room)

Afternoon -- Shopping at leisure, share cabs back to Union Station

5:55 PM -- AMTRAK 383 Illinois Zephyr departs Union Station 

7:41 PM -- Arrive at Princeton Train Station, carpool back to Peoria Evergreen Square

9:00 PM --  Arrive in Peoria
